Hi,
I have a BIIISE with Legato. SPDIF input works a treat, but I can't seem to get the Toslink to work. Would someone mind verifying that I have it hooked up correctly? I have an LCDPS powering 2 BIIISE DACS at 5.25V each side. I have the Toslink hooked up to one of the LCDPS outputs (+ve and GND) in addition to the DAC. VCC at the Toslink input reads 5.25V. Outputs from Toslink are connected directly to D1 and GND on the DAC. I have the mute led lit, so there seems to be no signal at all getting to the DAC.
What's my next move...?

Hopefully for TTL level, but maybe this is where I've gone wrong... AlanH attached the following image(s): IMG_6473_2.JPG (206kb) downloaded 38 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

You can check the output of the onboard regulator (pin nearest the edge of the board) to make sure you are getting 3.3V.
If that checks out, I would guess that it is a bad TORX module. If so, I will send you a replacement.

I take it the regulator is IC1? This is showing 5.25V, same as input voltage.

I'm about to order another one, but before I do, would someone mind checking to see if I haven't missed something really obvious...
Thanks all!
