Hi.

I am interrested in building one Buffalo 3 SE, but there are something that i am not clear, so please give me advices:

- The Dac Board has 3 tridents and 1 Vacc for power supply. So what the the role of Placid HD?
- The Dac need Placid HD supply or Placid HD bioplar supply ?
- The DAC need 5,25 v , but in case HD placid just give exactly 5v, so the DAC still works well ?
- For a output of 5,25 v. Do we need a transformer of 9v ?

Thank you

1. The Placid is the power supply for the whole DAC. The Tridents and the AVCC are local regulators.
2. The DAC uses the Pladig HD (single voltage supply)
3. The Placid HD can be adjusted to provide 5.25v.
4. Yes.
