                Hi!
I plan to add usb-input to my buffalo 3se via the WaveIO board. This board provides isolated i2s-output via an IL715 isolator chip which needs to be powered separate from the WaveIO-board.

The isolator is rated to use up to 10 mA, and I would like to power it from the B3SE i2c-connection (which is rated to deliver up to 75 mA).

 Is this possible/adviceable?

If I go for this, is ground on the i2c header=ground on the B3SE input header, so that I can connect ground from IL715 to ground on the input header and just connect the voltage pin on the i2c header to current-in on IL715?

Best regards and hope the questions make sense=)
