Hi all, Let me edit my initial message and simplify my question. I need a new DAC with a spdif receiver like the wolfson sold by Twisted Pear. The receiver will be getting a spdif signal from a cd transport that uses a 16.93mhz crystal. I would like to use a single crystal to be the masterclock for the transport/dac combo. How to implement that? I see that the wolfson receiver has a 12mhz crystal. I wonder if that can be changed or eliminated in case I can keep the clock on the transport (which would be my preference). And can I have a few suggestions about clocks to use here? For various reasons, the DAC I am considering is NOS based on the TDA1543. I would appreciate any help about this.
