I was trying to connect WaveIO board to Buffalo IIIse via non-isolated I2S and something happened it seems - it no longer locks on anything (i2s or spdif). Since WaveIO board works with other dac it seems the problem is in Buffalo now.
It must have been somekind of discharge on I2S so I'm preparing for the worst.
Is there a way i can make sure if dac chip itself is still ok?

Update: I found similar problem in this topic http://www.diyaudio.com/...o-iii-i2s-problem-3.html
I measure 21ohm between DCK and ground, nothing between D1 and ground, 102ohm between D2 and ground, 76ohm between spdif and ground, around 124ohm between D2 and DCK...

I rushed ahead and removed 2 of the chips (D2 and DCK) which short via ground and it seems they are the only problem so far. Now i need the replacement, but have been fruitless in finding mysterious "B7BA" or "B78A" chips.

Are they Fairchild multiplexers? They seem to have "B7" and "B7B" parts, but not "B7BA"...

Please help - need part number\model! It's the only thing (hopefully) that keeps my dac from playing :(
