Well, I've just discovered ripple on 3.3V AVCC dual module (not the latest 3.5V) and this ripple is about 400 mVpp on both channels and frequency is about 274KHz. I wouldn't call it normal behavior. What should I do?

OMG, I was really dissatisfied with the sound of the Buffalo III, it was thin, edgy, harsh, rude, unlistenable actually and I thought something is fundamentally wrong either with my Buffalo setup, or my system as a whole but I would never expect that dual AVCC module can be a culprit with these oscillations . I had no desire to listen to music at all, sometimes for several weeks(months) at least on my system. Last winter I removed Crystek 100MHz clock and went to synchronous road with Acko's pcbs but to no avail. I mean everything worked from the start but the sound was still unbearable. I have the scope from the last November but it never occurred to me to probe the little buggers. And now, it's a long night ahead of me.

I'm quite sure it's the previous version. Brian just posted on the diyaudio forum that the new version is now readily available.

Hi Brian,
sorry for being overcautious. If I'll order AVCC from Trident page now, I'll get AVCC new version - v3 or something (not v2.1 as it is now on Trident page)?
Thanks, Fedor
