Hi,

after buying several times from you with no problem the german customs start to make trouble.

they do not let me get "electronic stuff" (also kits) without the CE sign. Even if I say it is for diy.

It depends on the person on duty if I get it or not. If I do not get it I only have two opportunities: let it destroy or send back the whole package.

So my question is: if i order (would like to order 2 buffalos etc.) and they won't let it pass can i send it back?

thx

You can tell them the CE requirement does not apply. It's not an appliance, it's not even a functioning module. It's a bag of passive components. It requires manufacturing, it's not yet suitable to be used for a certain voltage specification. As such it does not fall under the products requiring a CE marking.

If you have manufactured the DAC or even the modules, it's a different thing. As the manufacturer you are responsible for the CE marking if you wish to sell the resulting appliance/module in the EU.
