I have an Acko AKD16 dac board (based on the ES9016 chipand plan to use TPA Trident shunt regs to power it. I need to populate the passive components onto the AKD16 pcb and the precise component population is dependent on the regulators used - to avoid high capacitance causing instability in regulators. With trident regs should I keep capacitance minimal or will they tolerate more capacitance? Thanks for any help that you may be able to offer.

In general, shunt regulators don't like to see a lot on capacitance on their outputs. I would keep it to a minimum.
