Hi guys,

I have a BIIIse and understand that to allow me to 'inject' an external master clock source I need to remove VDD_XO. This information is from: http://www.twistedpearau...ternal-master-clock.aspx

Can I clarify exactly what this means: Currently I have a trident in that position powering VDD. By 'remove VDD_XO' do you mean to merely disconnect the output pin of the Trident, or remove the Trident altogether? Which is preferable or does it matter?

Many thanks,
Crom

To answer my own question in case any other pedants need the info:

I just removed the trident in question and that did the trick.
