Hi
I like to use the III DAC together with my PC for my new project (later I will implement an ADC and DSP for use as Digital Crossover). But the USB DAC/Receiver from Twisted Pear Audio is out of stock.
Has anyone used the USB Streamer from miniDSP.com (USB to I2S or Toslink) or any other USB Converter together with the III DAC ?
Thanks and regards
Kurt Blum

Hi Kurt,

Some of us are waiting for TP to release a new USB converter covered in this thread here at diyaudio.

In the mean time, myself and others are using the Amanero USB to I2S module.

There have been Amanero group buys that save you from full retail price, but you wait until the minimum number of buyers sign up before you pay and get it. He hits the target number to sell and closes group buy. If enough interests he starts another.

Thanks and Regards

I was concerned about no galvanic isolation with the Amanero until I connected to my computer and had no noise issues, just wonderful sound. I had purchased the Acko isolation boards but haven't assembled them yet.

As far as what is out there right now, Amanero is hard to beat.
