Will I need two toroids or can I pull the power from a single still somehow?

HI Again, :) I am guessing you have either a couple IVYs or a Ballsie? If so you will definitely want 2 dual secondary trafos. My suggestion is to wire like this: 2 sec to LCBPS which will power the IVYs or Ballsie. 1 sec to DAC VA (one side of a LCDPS) 1 sec to all digital supplies including DAC VD (the other side of a LCDPS). Just wire the AC input of the JT controller in parallel with the AC input for digital half of the LCDPS. Of course the USB is self powered, and does have a 5V supply, but I would not try powering a DAC,JT,and a metronome from it. Cheers! Russ Edited by user Monday, July 28, 2008 5:18:21 PM(UTC)

Actually I only have the USB Dual mono OPUS Dac LCDPS and the metronome currently. I am making a balanced millett max hybrid (like pabbi1) and will buy the Joshua Tree attenuator and anything else I need when it comes back into stock. Do I need any Ivys or a ballsie? (I am tempted to get the ballsie already for single ended output for future projects too) Thanks again. :) EDIT: I have one Avel Lindberg Transformer (115V+115V prim. / 15V+15V 15VA sec.) to power it so far. No you won't need either IVY or Metronome if your going into a balanced amp. :)
One trafo should be fine, just omit the one for the LCBPS.
Cheers! Russ
