Hi all.
I'm still trying to convince myself that I should attempt a Buffalo IIIse build. One last concern that I have is I don't fully understand the switching between different inputs. From the integration guide, it looks like I can add a simple SPST switch to change from a s/pdif (through a toslink module) to PCM/DSD. If I attempt the build, I'll probably use an Amanero USB board. If I do this, I don't understand how to switch between PCM and DSD sources (all sent through the USB). Will the DAC chip automatically know what I'm sending it? Will it also automatically recognise sampling frequency? Sorry for the basic question.
Thanks!

Simple enough. Thanks.
Uh oh, no excuses left for not starting the project!
