Hello gentlemen,

I have been happily using my Buffalo 32s for a few years now. I have a 4:1 mux input board, each input to the mux has a switch selecting toslink or RCA connector for the spdif input.

I'm aware this is not ideal, and I'm now using 6 inputs anyway so I have to reach around the back and flick switches to access 2 inputs... time to improve it!

I am thinking that another 4:1 mux board and an OTTO 2:1 switch to select between them is the way to go, am I correct?

I am planning on using an Arduino to control the OTTO and the two 4:1 boards

Are there any guidelines for optimum wiring of spdif inputs?

cheers

I think 2 Mux boards and an Otto 2:1 right now are the way to go if you want 8 inputs.
