Finally found some time to start on my dual mono OPUS DAC.

The OPUS's digital and analog section can both be powered using separate power supplies or using a single supply.

Since I have two OPUS DAC's (dual mono) I thought of using one supply to power analog sections of both DAC's and one supply for both the digital sections.
Is this alright or is it better to use one supply for each DAC, meaning that the each supply will power both the analog and digital sections of one DAC.

It's a debatable point. Is it better to separate the pre-regulator for analog and digital, or for left and right?

I suppose you could use four supplies and get complete(ish) isolation, but it's probably overkill.

Since analog and digital grounds are shared anyway, I would probably opt for channel separation and power each DAC with it's own supply.

Thanks Brian. I had thought of using four supplies, but I simply do not have enough room for four supplies.

I think that I will start with powering each DAC with it's own supply and switch to separating analog and digital after a few weeks or so. That way I can most probably get the best comparison between the two options.

If anybody else has some (different) opinions about this point I'd still like to hear those.

One LCDPS for one Opus, two output serving VD and VA independently, and third LCDPS supplying to Transciver and Optical in module.
