I need help to diagnose the problem with my buffalo III se setup. I feed IIS signal from Philip CD pro2 transport to Metronome module and get 64fs out(confirmed by measure) for Baffalo. But there was no sound coming out from the DAC with Legato IV stage. It could get sound normally when feeding by SPDIF. The SW2/6 and SW2/5 were on so sabre should in auto mode. When I feeded with IIS I also disconnected SPDIF. So what went wrong with my set up for IIS to Buffalo and how to do proper set up for IIS input.

In order to toggle between the S/PDIF input and I2S input, you need to use the IP_S pads. When left open, S/PDIF is selected. When shorted, I2S is selected. You can use a simple toggle switch, or a microcontroller of some sort to do the switching.
