One of my Placid's output was accidentally connected to 9V AC. According to my friend, he realized that something was wrong when it smelled funny and made some noise and disconnected it immediatelly. I guess QN1 and QP2 are gone but unless IC1 is damaged (I am afraid it is) I would try to repair it. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Rod Edited by user Wednesday, April 10, 2013 11:59:55 AM(UTC)

Its really hard to say. My guess its probably a lot less trouble to just get the better Placid HD anyway. :)
