The ones from Mouser are already within 0.1% of each other, so you only need 4.

If you get the .1% there is no need for hand matching just get what you need. I only suggest hand matching for 1%.

It's a fairly simple equation: - Do you have the equipment to hand match the resistors (<0.05% DMM)? If the answer is no, it's likely not worthwhile to proceed.
- What is the value of your effort/time testing them all? If the answer is $0, proceed. If it's more, add this amount to the 1% stack.
- How many resistors do you need in total? It's either 4 or 8 depending on the configuration (stereo or dual mono), so it's $6 or $12 + shipment for the 0.1% and $6 + shipment + effort for the 1%.

Hey Russ, Update: I changed out the resistors to the 357 RC55LF-D-357R-B-B---- Thanks thanks Thanks Brian!!!! Output Voltage doubled to 1.28 which is good (, I haven't tested for overall sound quality yet that's the next step. I did however see a jump in voltage with the Ventus EZ as well 2.56. Pic attached What can I do to modify this? I don't want to blow a pair of headphones. Thanks Dave Datazone attached the following image(s): Ventus-EZ-new.jpg (92kb) downloaded 7 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

Yes it's input is now increased to roughly double what it was. So depending on how much you want it reduced refer to the manual on choosing the right resistors for you.

((1.29v before)) Also, I don't see a manual for the Ventus EZ's Thanks Dave Edited by user Wednesday, April 24, 2013 11:52:23 PM(UTC)

Hmm, that's odd. I thought we had it up there. I will check into that.
In any case, just halve the value of R4 and R5 and that should get you really close.
