Hi
I am planning to build a Opus DAC, now I wonder if it is necessary to add a IVY or Legato.

I will only use it for input to my Phonitor (SPL headphone amp) which has balanced input.

According to the manual it has 20K Ohm input impedance for balanced signals. And Maximum Input Level: +24 dBu.
Phonitor

Going direct into the amp would probably work fine (electrically it is okay).

I take the topic to do a similar question.
I have a Dynalo headphone amplifier.
To connect the Opus on it, I have to use the IVY-III I/V Stage
to convert to single-end or well call it directly in Dynalo?

No - you don't need an I/v stage as long as you use the output caps and the input impedance of the next stage is > 1K
