I have been running the dual mono Opus into a single Ivy for the past couple years and have been very happy with the set up. But I have a question on the Opus to Ivy wiring.

I currently have it wired so that the reversed output from each dac feeds the IVY (R- feeds L+, R+ feeds L-, etc...). I've seen other posts that indicate the outputs should be combined (R- plus L+ feeds L+, etc...). I guess I didn't grasp that concept from the manual. My question is: are they supposed to be combined? If they're not combined (as in my current setup), what is the impact?

Before I take apart the dac to change the wiring, I wanted to know how important this is. I apologize if this was answered in other posts and I missed it.
