I currently use a low output moving coil cartridge i.e. Dynavector DV XX-2 giving an output voltage of

0.23mV @ 1KHz,5cm/sec and recommended load impedance of 30 ohms.

Will the Retro be a suitable phono stage for this cartridge?

The wiring of my record deck (Well Tempered Record Player) can be modified for balanced output.

I have a similar cartridge but not the boards (yet if still available?). Recommended resistors for increased gain would be nice. Would like to couple with the IVY III which I am using as my preamp.

In order to have 47K input impedance in Hi-Z, R7 and R8 must be 23K ?

Edit: The stock values yield 47K input impedance because the mid point is referenced to GND on Hi Z. :)

So just stick with stock value.
