Hello.

I have two buffalo 3se dacs and one legato 3.1 that i intend to use instead of two legatos as standard config.
for dual mono. I will get hedphone out and smaller size with this setup.

Now to my questions. The power amp that i intend to use has balanced inputs with impedance of 100k + to - and
50k from each to ground. For full output signal you need 0.8 V rms in balanced mode. (Gain of 50 / 34 dB).

What is the best way to modify the legato if i need to and without adding as little stuff as possible in signal path?
Or can i run with it as it is without any mod?
If i need i can go with two legatos instead (standard config), if thats more easy to mod and match with the power amp? Think

Best regards,
Peter Hoppman

Build the Legato 3.1 exactly as stock - just add a ~100R (adjust up for more output and down for less) across + and - outputs on each side.

I would prefer this setup over two legatos.
