Hello to the people of TP forum, Buffalo-IIIse DAC up and running. Project took an extra couple day due to a power supply issue but all looks good for now. A quick Picture is attached, unit is sitting in a old Roland S330 case I gutted for testing. NOT the FINAL product. I still have to incorporate the Ventus EZ Headphone Amp, but I may have to put this box to the extreme test over the next few days in the Studio. Thanks for the help from Russ, Leon & Brian A big thanks to my new buddy Rich - SComprRacer, I have to say this project may not have found it's way to completion and ending up in a parts dun if it wasn't for him.. Leon please add more pictures to the Buffalo-III Integration Guide, I'm a Musician not a Rocket Scientist well maybe Tomas Dolby style RS. - no dis respect Leon Thanks DAVE Datazone attached the following image(s): Buffalo3se-IVYIII-Fully-Assembled.jpg (189kb) downloaded 59 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Thanks Russ Great Design... Not getting much Volume ? It's not low but compared to the previous DAC (roland M1000) it is low, if I go directly out of the DAW (digidesign 002) interface using the analog outs I can't even turn it to 10 it would blow the speakers. Dave, It's good to see your DAC is operational. I hope you like the sound. Regarding the pictures: don't forget most of the time I have no access to the parts I'm documenting. Pictures are "loaned" from Brian and Russ, as they are the only ones that have access to the parts at that time.

I'll be happy to give you a ton of pictures. All the pictures I added when I was having issues with the power supply would be great to add to a how to when your building a power supply.
