Good morning to all, I like your opinion:
the buffalo dac SE , sounds better than the buffalo dac 8-channel mode 'stereo?Boo hoo!
and yet the buffalo dac 8 channels used in dual mono and 'best of both?Think

There is no difference between the two if configured for stereo or dual-mono, and with matched configuration settings.

For stereo/mono use the B3SE is better routed and has some advantages - because it was designed especially for that case. But Brian is right, when configured for stereo/mono they are very nearly the same.

I would recommend the B3SE for anyone who knows they will be going stereo.
