If there are interruption on SPDIF signal, the volumite control stops to work. When I eject a CD from my CD player, it stops the signal momentary, and it causes the volumite control to stop working. Anyone have any idea on how to fix it. I see there is a RESET pin on the Buffalo DAC v1.2, can i connect a push button there and reset the DAC and will it makes the volumite work again?
Thanks

How is the volumite connected and powered? Did you remove the on-board controller? If you post some photographs here, it will be easier for people to spot a possible problem. Edited by user Tuesday, December 11, 2012 12:14:48 AM(UTC)

Connect as suggested by the volumite controller manual ... 4 PIN on buffalo: SDA, SCL, VCC, GND to corresponding 4 pin on controller. i did not install the voltage regulator since the power is supplied by buffalo. I did not remove any on-board controller.
I try to use the RESET connection on Buffalo, it does not work. It just kill everything, need to power off and on in order to make it work again.

You need to remove the on-board controller from the Buffalo. It conflicts with the volumite.

Do you have a controller/the correct controller on the volumite board?

If you can post photographs of your setup, it might help.
