I love my Opus Thank you Twisted Pear! Its been running strong for 2+ years. I use a simple relay to turn it on and off via the remote trigger on my Cary amp. Source switching is a bit crude due to the IR relay board that controls the low voltage relays, one of which is a 4PDT Panasonic low signal relay that switches between I2s from the USB and SPDI. I will add another IVY III, OTTO, Volume, and 4/1 receiver someday. Ive been trying to decide if I should upgrade to the Saber Buffalo or just run the Opus. I just had an Idea keep the opus for my subwoofer, and get a Buffalo for my L/R channel. I could use two Josh trees to do the Vol. Any one hear of someone doing this? javascript:insertsmiley('\ %20','/forum/Images/Emoticons/eusa_dance.gif') Edited by user Tuesday, December 11, 2012 2:21:16 AM(UTC)

That looks very nice :) I have been thinking of testing an Opus as well.
As for the combination of dac`s. Are you sure it is not possible to control both an Buffalo and an Opus from the same controller? Perhaps glt (started out with opus did he not?) would accept the challange?
