Hi,
I recently ordered Ventus EZ to use for balanced-to-SE conversion in a dual-mono Buffalo II/Ivy III setup. Each Ventus EZ board will be powered from a Placid BP along with one Ivy III (i.e. each Placid BP will supply one Ivy III and one Ventus EZ board). What do I need to set up the Placid BP for in terms of current to be shunted?
Thanks.

Hi Kesgreen,
The Ventus will draw approx 250mA. You just connect them to the Placid HD and turn up the power until you reach a shunt current of 50-60mA. The shunt current is your over capacity. If you adjusted the Placid according the Integration Guide than now you must also have a 50-60mA shunt current. If you connect the Ventus this current will drop. So just turn it up again.
Good luck,
Jordo
