I use the opus in dual mono mode.
My question is Can I do the channel join (http://www.twistedpearaudio.com/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=277&p=2 Brian diagram) before the output capacitor? and It is possible to use only one capacitor for the sum of the signal for each signal positive and negative? So I will use better coupling cap like auricap (4 in total).
Thanks
Bruno

I think it would work fine to joining the outputs together before the cap, but I have not tried it. You should remember to use a series resistor from each output prior to joining them (either before or after the cap). This will ensure that the two outputs are correctly sharing the load. This is why the Ballsie has these resistors at the input. Just about any small value resistor is fine 10-221 ohms or so. Cheers! Russ Edited by user Monday, April 28, 2008 5:25:33 AM(UTC)
