Hi I want to use the teleporter for USB connection from the PC.

As I do not rely the Clock of the PC so I want to take the Metronome into the chain.

I have only one issue. I do not have a lot of space left in my DAC. I can only house one Teleporter module and I hope it does not require an extra Power source.

I was thinking about the following setup;
There is going to be another case with a transformer and a Placid HD.
The USB connection of the PC will be connected to, for instance, a Wave I/O USB to I2S converter.
This one will be connected to the Teleporter Sender wich sends it's I2S signal to the Metronome.
From there it wil leave the Case via a RJ-45 Connector to the case of the DAC with the Receiving Teleporter which offers it's clean signal to the Sidecar.

So:

USB--> WAVE I/O-->Teleporter-->Metronome-->Teleporter-->Sidecar

Will the Metronome fit in like this?

Ok so that would be USB-->Wave IO-->Metronome--> Teleporter --> Teleporter --> Sidecar.

But as you say the Metronome can be taken out of the chain because it has it's own (excellent?) Clock.

But which Clock would be better for the Buffalo III?
I can imagine the Metronome has the perfect one for the Buffalo...
Can the Oversampling Filter and Reclocking be set to Bypass on the DAC when using the Wave IO Clock?

I've had a little chat with Leon as where he told me that the BIII Ckock is one of the best and that this clock wil resample evrything.
Bypassing the DAC's clock and send 'clocked' signals from a larger distance will only introduce Jitter.

So, I've decided to keep it simple and that there is no reason for me to use another clock.
That is the counterside of having perfect stuf already, there seems not that mutch to improve :)
