Hello Brian or Russ,

I was wondering if it would be ok to substitute this for
the Fairchild BC550B's since they don't seem to be available any
longer:

http://www.newark.com/nt...npn-40v-to-92/dp/06M7367

Newark shows it as 'equivalent'. If this is ok, would it be best to use the
equivalent for the BC560 also? Is matching or selecting best parts
an issue for these pieces as used on the Placid power supply boards?

TIA as usual,

/Mike

Thanks Brian!

Is this part still OK for the PNP part? (BC560CTA)

I'm re-doing a Placid supply that got bungled.
