Very nice Hansen, it look like an Audio Research amp. I love the display.

Thanks -- actually the chassis is a leftover from a Taiwan ebay seller of a grounded grid preamp which I bought a couple of years ago and subseqently canabalized, and the very nice Alu base on which all modules are mounted are from the Kitchen section of Ikea in Bangkok. So any resemblence to AR is as close as Samsung is to Apple. You simply cannot get that wrong. As for the Volume display - well I don't quite know what I am doing since I have no proper electronic training. What happenend is that I bought a IR module with a double 10K pot on ebay. Since the B-III only needs one for controlling volume, I used the second Pot ( which is syncronized with Pot 1) as analogue input for an Arduino with a display shield. ( And yes I had to learn about that) It with this input that it becomes relatively easy to show attenuation if you use a log pot, ie. at half R of the Pot you would have - 3Db ad so on. I don't claim that this is perfect - but is was fun doing, and it tells me when it's too loud.. Let me know if you want to do a similar display, and I will post the Arduino file I made, and please have a good laugh .. Best regards
Hansen
