Hi All,
Just playing with different opamps for the IVY, I stumble on a pile of OPA1632 I had and tested them... All I can say is WOW!!! what a difference it makes compare to the stock one.
It is faster, more detailed and present a scene that is wider and deeper. It also digs a little bit deeper in the low. I've been burning it for 10 hours so far and it is getting a little better then first installed.
Seems like the highs are never harsh. I've been playing many music pieces and I'm hearing sounds I've never heard before probably because the stock opamp was veiled compared to this one. It is a worthy upgrade for only 8$-10$ a piece...
You'll need some smd skills since the opamp is soldered and is SOIC8 type... I suggest using a hot air gun and if you don't have, cut all the legs with an xacto and then remove all the leftover with soldering iron.
Do this at your own risk and I'm not responsible for anything.!
Do

No offense, but this was one of the funnier things I read all week. :) Still all that matters is that you are enjoying the IVY.
Cheers! Russ
