i want to interface Twisted pear audio WM8804 based SPDIF transceiver board with my CS4398 DAC in I2S mode. i want to know whether I2S signal of these two are compatible or not. Output of Twisted pear audio transceiver board are BCLK, SCK, LRCK, DOUT but I found in CS4398 datasheet that I2S input required for this chip are SCLK,MCLK,LRCK, DIN. Therefore i have a doubt whether about two signal BCLK, SCK of WM8804 are same as SCLK & MCLK of CS4398. kindly make me understand about the issue.

It's just different manufacturer's names for the pins. They are perfectly compatible.

So You mean SCK & BCKL of PCM 1794 are equivalent to MCLK & SCLK of CS4398 respectively.
