I am trying to set up Placid HD for Buff3. Voltage setting seems to be fine and get 5.1V out. I struggle with current setting(VR1). With pot set at 100ohm as in manual voltage across R8=12V+ Increasing VR1 I get the voltage across R8 down to 3.6V but not lower to the expected 0.5V. Led's are all glowing and no smoke(yet). Any suggestion on what i might have wrong. I have checked components in board, resoldered the back etc. Thanks ! Edited by user Friday, July 20, 2012 8:59:47 AM(UTC)

Problem sorted, confused by version of manual and board. Measured across R2 and results are all in line with expected values.
Thanks to all who looked and probably silently laughed at novice trying to make sense of new learing curve.
