I was considering 'daisy chaining' two stacked
buffalo 3's from sidecar. I figure the total
length of the ribbon cables would be under
~3" or 70mm this way. Of course the length would
be longer to the stacked 2nd dac (on top).

If a conventional flipped cable is used with equal distance
between side car and each dac I figure the minimal
length is ~7 to 8" or somewhere around 170-200mm.
(total for the whole cable and 2 dacs)

Is the total length less important that equal distance?
From what I've read I would say it must be so. All I've read
says equal length is most critical.

In anycase it's so easy to build up a set both ways and
test so I'll do that as soon as my parts arrive.
