Hello everybody, here's my first post! I'm thinking to build a similar volume control employing Vishay z-foil resistors. As far as I can read this is a constant output impedance kit (as others on the market), but I want a constant input impedance. I'm wondering if the firmware could be modified for this function. Thank you and best regards from Italy.

You just need to alter the resistor values to achieve this. Firmware would remain the same.

Interesting. Anyway my question is due to the fact that to achieve a constant input impedance a resistor with a value of the desired impedance is always in parallel to the signal. This means that 0db attenuation has all the seven resistors in series with signal shorted by the relaies. Edited by user Thursday, May 3, 2012 6:42:01 PM(UTC)
