Hi guy's,
When I switch the 4:1 rotary switch clockwise, the LED's illuminate from down to up and vice versa.
Any way to reverse this? (without cross connecting al the LEDs pls) :D

Hello Jordo, In order to fix this, I interrupted the traces to the on-board Led's and connected them to the external pins in the correct way. I already mentioned this to Russ, but he stated having a lot of these boards laying on the shelf. Hmmmpfff  This is going to cost me the free space which I had not forseen.... This is already the most critical part. I'm not happy with this, especially since this is a known issue. But thanks! I must be creative. Jordo

Ok, I managed to set the wires up in the front instead of the back. So no free space is lost. But I did had to scrap 4 LEDs and I will need some Molex parts so it'll cost me another week before I can continue.......

I guess my quirky nature wanted it that way, you can rotate the board around if you like 180 degrees. :) The LEDs are numbered in the order they are selected. You can also direct wire if you like. Sorry I doubted you guys :D
But the damage has already been done...
I had clamped the LEDs in the frontpanel, mounted the PCB and soldered the LEDs to the PCB.
So when removing they jump loose and the lines where nicked.
Does'nt matter. I have now come up with a more compact and flexible solution that I will show you when the parts arrive.
Anyway the lockpin hole was drilled already so I leave it this way and crosssonnect the LEDs....

I would just cut the traces and wire if you want to reverse the order for now. No need to even install the LED header. It should take very little space. Edited by user Thursday, March 29, 2012 12:04:17 PM(UTC)

Turning the board 180° will not solve the problem. The direction you turn the selector switch and the direction the Led's are moving always stays the same. I have tried it all: turning the board 180° and even mounting the switch on the back . The only thing you can do is rewiring the Led's.

I was only saying the LED progression would then travel up :)
You could probably flip the board over, but you may have to rotate the switch to get that to work. I have not tried it.
