With the current Buffalo III 8x8 board can i directly connect 6 Sympatico balanced monoblock without loosing THD??? How do that sympatico amp compare to the Ta2020 amps out there in terms of SQ? I would like to do Buffalo III -> 6 Sympatico monoblock on 6channel + 1 Legato IVY/RCAorXLR on 2 channel Anybody could tell me the step to implement something like this Also what about remote control of volume? or multichannel volume control? or any 8 channel IVY on the way? thx for helping peace Alex Edited by user Monday, March 12, 2012 5:48:48 PM(UTC)

Sure you can do it.
I would say the Sympatico is very easily better that the Ta2020 in terms of distortion.
If you want't to try your setup I would recommend IVY III (setup for 4X the normal gain) for the 2 channels.
You can then go directly out to the Sympaticos for the other 6. No changes to the Symnpatico are required. the output will not be filtered, but they may actually probably won't matter since the Sympatico already has a low pass.
In summary, while I have not done it, I can't see any any reason it would not work and achieve excellent results.
