I have been unsuccessful at getting input to DAC module via 4 input SPDIF board. When my TOSLINK module is directly connected to D1 input on DAC, no issues and lock. Using the same TOSLINK module to the 4 input SPDIF board, no lock. The resistor values are correct (10K - Rz) (0 - Rs). Looking at input and output via scope, the input is ~3.5 Volts and solid up/down edges. Output is not symmetrical with input and has 'bi-level' values and the high is around 4.5 volts. I have checked input voltage (5.25V) and for solder bridges. I have scope pictures, but can't find a converter for wfm to jpg. Any suggestions are welcomed.

OK. Found issue. It was that the ground connection between GND and - on the input of the 4-channel SPDIF board was broken!
