What type and gauge of wire is recommended for putting a buffalo III and Legato 3.1 together?
Thanks,
Mark

The best one:
Legato is "Designed specifically for use with our Buffalo-II DAC, the inputs of the Legato mount directly below the Buffalo's DAC chip for very short (and equal length) signal paths."
It should apply also for Buffalo III.

Thanks for the reply Miero. The wording was wrong on the question listed above. What I meant was assembling the entire DAC power supply inputs outputs everything. I did get an answer on the DIY board though. Here is the response: "Simple copper wire (fi. AWG20-22) is fine for power, you could use thinner wire (22-24) for the I2C/I2S connections. A favorite for me are simple CAT5/6 strands of a good cable brand: it's very tightly controlled, high quality wire that is extremely affordable. "

Ah, in that case I don't know. I've just used what was available... see.

Very nice Miero, I have been waiting for quite a while to build one and am very excited to get going. Seeing yours make that all the more true.
Thanks,
Mark
