Hi, can the Buffalo III be operated as four boards run in balanced dual mono? Board 1 would be L+, board 2 L-, etc. Tia.

Alternatively, can a single board be operated as a single-channel +/-, ie, balanced L and balanced R?

Yes. This is dual-mono mode.

Brian, thanks for your reply. Pardon my lack of knowledge, but are you saying the native output of the Sabre chip is balanced?
