I have the legato hooked up to a headphone amplifier via the balanced outputs however the sound is very thin. The single ended output sounds great and I've tried a pair of Sennheiser HD650s driven directly from the balanced outputs that sounded good too directly out of the amp.
Would the DC offset at the legato's balanced output result in thin sound if the amp required coupling caps to be used?

Are the balanced outputs AC coupled currently? If not, try that first. Edited by user Wednesday, January 4, 2012 2:56:53 PM(UTC)
