Hello everyone,
If I put a Metronome between a S/PDIF Transceiver(WM8804)(SPDIF IN, I2S OUT) and a BuffaloII (I2S IN), will it be better or worse or transparent in term of Jitter ?
Thanks !

Brian is totally correct. There is not good reason to use a Metronome in front of a Buffalo unless you are trying to convert from a PCM format the Buffalo does not support to one it does. An example of this would be from 48fs bit clock I2S to 65fs bit clock I2S which is required if you want to use some older sources like CD-Pro etc.
