Hello,

I want to connect DEQ2496 to Buffalo32.
DEQ2496 has balanced AES/EBU output and the signal level is 3.5v peak-to-peak, transformer coupled. Do you think it will be safe to connect DEQ2496 output(pin2 and pin3) to Bufflalo32 input(D2 and GND) directly? I am wondering whether 3.5v is too high for TTL level.

Thank you.

I would not do so. I would use a transformer and voltage divider and get the voltage down a bit.
