May I have any advise adding an attenuator? So, I can feed Sympatico directly from a CD player.
Is it simply using a 2-gang 100K POT to replace R12 and R13 (100K)?
Or, adding the POT somewhere after IC3 but before LM4780?

Will it be better to add a balance line driver (1646/134) to convert se to bal, instead of just connecting cold to gnd for se connection?
Can I get the power from the shunt regulator on board too? Is the shunt reg capable?
