Hi,

Have just bought myself a used Buffalo 1.0 dac.

This dac came with a DDAC1543 Mk II USB receiver that needs a seperate power transformer and some capacitors - because of this it looks like a mess inside this box...


Is it possible to use the USB Receiver/DAC bases on the Texas Instruments PCM2707 USB DAC and install this one instead of the one I have?

Then I can take out the power transformer and these capacitors, and just use the USB bus to drive the USB receiver.


Please correct me if I'm wrong about this...
