input impedances for BAL/SE on legato III vs Ventus

Comparing BAL/SE stage of Legato II and Ventus, I noticed that input impedance setting resistor of BAL/SE on Legato is 4.99K while that for ventus is 2K. Any reason why they are set differently while both are designed to mate with balanced output of legato III?

Just for purposes of part matching. Either value works fine as long as the rest of the cct is taken into consideration.
