Hi,
In trying to debug why I get no sound from my Opus after initialising it via i2c I have been going through the datasheet again.
It seems to me that the default after power-up is no attenuation, no mute, 24bit I2S input and OSR low.
Given that I am supplying 44.1 x 16 bit through the Mux which outputs 24bit I2S (am I right here?) then by default, with no programming, I should get sound from the 8741?

Yes. Make sure the switches are in the right position

Thanks, turns out my problem was not the DAC...
Just have to get the programming of the volume registers right now, the volume changes, a little bit.
