Hello All, New member here. Just received my opus/ ballsie kit. Very nice! I have a couple questions.
I'm not sure how to configure the 10ohm resisters on either power supply. Looks like they should be in parallel and straddling the inductor?
I ordered one mains transformer and it seems like two would be better?
I did not receive c1,c2 with either kit. Are they optional?
Pictures of other peoples builds would be great. I'm planning on a wooden box with a small metal back plate.
Jim

Hi Jim- The resistors are supposed to oriented vertically. You can see some pistures I took for an assembly guide (not finished) here: http://www.twistedpearau...supply_build_guide_pics/ (Resistor pics are DSCN9010 - DSCN9015). C1 and C2 should have been in your kits. The supplies will work fine without them, but better with them. They are on the way to you now. Edited by user Thursday, November 15, 2007 10:56:44 AM(UTC)

That's great Brian, Thanks. How about the transformer. Should I order a second one? Jim

Well, you can't share one between the two supplies (without causing a short). You can get another one from me or use just about any dual secondary trafo in the 9-15V range.
