Hi Russ,
I have boards to build an attenuator similar to the Joshua Tree and would like to control the relays for that board using the volumite.
1) Will I get the source code if I buy the firmware for the Joshua Tree?
2) How much memory space is left for added programming?

I know there are a few using Arduino.

If the pot in the volumite provides a voltage to the ATtiny based on the pot position and an ADC in the ATtiny converts it into a 8 bit number. Then I was hoping to try and tag on IR receiver code to control a motorized pot. The motorized pot would replace the volumite pot.

Comments?

Thanks.

It's far easier to work the other way around: get an IR kit to control the motorized pot, and keep the rest as as. FI:

Thanks.

It would be easier, but not optimized to a single system. The joshua tree setup is perfect for my needs, the only missing part being the IR remote. There are 2 extra pins from the ATtiny that can be used for the motor. The code part would be the hardest part, but maybe not insurmountable.
