Hi there, can anyone tell me if this data is acceptable? My DAC is giving me a digital signal on the audio output. Data and FS signals are perfect but the BCK seems pretty f****d. Edited by user Sunday, April 24, 2011 6:55:40 PM(UTC)

Not sure what to tell you here. Its coming directly from the WM8804, you may need to add some series resistance if your probes present a capacitive load.
Try say 100R.
Also its difficult to say since I have no details of your test setup which is f****d your measurment or the output. :)

thanks for the reply Russ,
I tried 100R in series with similar results.
I removed the WM8804 from the DAC and have it running separately using the optical module and 3 AA batteries as a power supply. I'm using A 12 Mhz BW scope.

Honestly your at the end of the useful limits of your scope for this type of measurement.
